The previous post was written in frustration as I noted at the beginning. With a couple of days to stew, I am pretty cool about everything. I still think that another musical selection should have been made, one that has more substantive women parts.* Nevertheless, I also think that the show will be fun to do and turn out to be a good one.
And for those who are wondering, I have been cast as one of the brothers' wives. Matt has been cast as Rueben and I am his wife (at least I'm assuming they are putting us together). How cute....yadda, yadda.
* Of course you can't blame Andrew Lloyd Webber on the lack of women parts - look what he had to work with.
