Ellie's New Look

Ellie has a new look. We finally realized that she has just enough hair for a little ponytail at the tippy top of her head.* Anyway, she made her debut at church on Sunday was received with rave reviews, so I promptly headed to Walmart this week and now she has several mini rubber bands and two packs of colorful bows.

And if that weren't enough to complete her new look, she has recently developed a new smile. When you tell her to smile for the camera, she smiles widely and squints her eyes - it looks like she's in serious pain. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen. I guess I should be pleased that she is stopping to get her picture taken (she usually just keeps doing what she's doing). Now she stops and waits for the picture but with the smile that makes you think she's enduring massive sorrow. Oh well.
