So Ellie got a dream come true thanks to a generous neighbor - a new bike! Most mornings we walk Matt to the train. We always pass this one brick house and the older gentleman that lives there inevitably sees and gives us a wave. He'll even yell down from his garage he's working in (his house is on a hill) and start a little conversation. Well, a couple of weeks ago, he stopped me and the girls while we were heading home. Turns out his granddaughter had outgrown this princess bike and he wanted to give it us. How sweet is that? Well Ellie was ecstatic, not only for a big girl bike, but a princess one at that!
Here she looks with her new bike and new bike helmet (we realized that she has outgrown her old Thomas helmet).
And don't worry about Annie, she was absolutely thrilled to get Ellie's old trike and helmet. I actually don't know who was happier - Ellie or Annie. They both look so cute! I love free things and especially thoughtful neighbors.
