A Visit from Sarah

Much earlier in the month of May we had another visit from my cousin, Sarah. Sarah has been living in New York City for the past year or so and wins the award for being the family member that comes to visit us the most. We love our visits with Sarah and wish she'd come even more often. She's threatening to move to California, which we do not accept and hope we can convince her otherwise, thought we realize we don't have much say in the matter.

Anyway, Sarah came and we decided to see the visitor center at the US Capitol Building. I took Ellie and Annie once before when they first finished it. But it was Sarah's and Matt's first time. It's a pretty nice visitor's center, it a little crazy with their security measures.

We didn't take any pictures inside but we did get a few outside before and after.

Here's Sarah and the girls in front of the Capitol Building. (For all of you Matt and Shelly fans, Matt proposed to me just a few steps away from that very spot!) Me in front of my former place of business.
Later on that day Sarah also helped us check another to do thing off our list. We went on a paddle boat in the Tidal Basin. I had done this with roommates before, but we had never gone together. It was fun, though they could really work on their customer service.
Here are the girls with Sarah. We love you, cousin Sarah!
