130,000 miles

This Sunday my car hit a milestone - 130,000 miles. Wow! I bought Tommie J the Friday before I moved to Washington DC to start my first job on the Hill in 2000 with around 24,000 miles already on her. Now we've gone over 100,000 miles together in 9 1/2 years. We've been all over the East Coast - New York several times, Boston several times, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont a few times, Indiana twice, North Carolina several times, South Carolina twice, Crazy! I took a picture of the mileage record with my cell phone camera, not my regular one and I haven't figured out how to get it off the phone. So no picture here. Oh well. Still I figure it's worth recording. Here's to another 130,000 miles.
