Ellie has really taken to learning some of the letters of the alphabet. I think it all started when she started fixating on having us write her name. Then she wanted us to write everyone else's name in the family - Ellie, Annie, Daddy and Mama. Consequently, she has learned to recognize the letters in those names and a few others. She really surprised me yesterday when she announced that she saw two C's and an O on the Costco sign. She also picked out a bunch of E's on the "Exit" signs. What a smartie!
So without further ado here are the letters Ellie knows and what she says when she sees them.
E - E for Ellie
A - A for Annie
D - D for Daddy
C - C for cookie, that's good enough for me
e - little e for Ellie
l - l
i - i with a dot
O - O
and my personal favorite:
M - M for mama, more, Mitt Romney

Can you teach her that L is for Lissa? That would be real fun.
:) I'll see what I can do.
Who's Lissa?
