Nursery Triumph

Despite our worries and anticipation, Ellie did a wonderful time yesterday at church when we left her in the nursery. This was her first day (you have to be 18months or older). Considering her recent behavior on a few occasions with me leaving her with people, we were concerned that she wouldn't take to the new environment very well. Thankfully, we were 100% wrong. She apparently LOVED it. I glanced through the window at one point and saw her sitting on a little car/scooter and pushing another toy around at the same time with a huge smile on her face. The key is that the nursery has way more toys than we do (plus they are all new to her). Who knew our thrifty toy buying habits would come in so handy. Anyway, it was a great success. We are looking forward to many happy nursery visits during church. There must be a special blessing for leaders that run it - they are fantastic!
