Last night was one of our favorite nights of the year - Merry TubaChristmas! This has become one of our favorite family traditions - heading over to the Kennedy Center to see more than 300 tubas, euphoniums, and sousaphones play Christmas carols. Who wouldn't love it? Ellie liked seeing the tubas, though she did keep asking when the concert would be over.* Annie, was just along for the ride. After it was over, a really nice man let the girls get a close look at his monstrous sousaphone. I love the pictures we got of the girls in it. So cute! I just love Christmastime!
*she did the same thing when we took her to a bell choir concert Sunday evening. Immediately after the first song she asked "Now is it time to go?" The poor girl, doesn't she know that with parents like hers she doomed to countless concerts throughout her lifetime?

Tuba Christmas is so fun. Sarah Case & I played in SLC's version of it one year (not quite 300 tubas - LOL). We had a blast! The girls' pics with the sousaphone are adorable!
Hey Shelly - why are you dressing your girls the same??? :)
