It's Christmastime!

We are in full Christmas mode here in our house. We've put out our Christmas decorations on Saturday and even picked out and decorated our tree. This is Ellie's fourth Christmas, and so far it's been the best. She's finally at an age where she understands what's going on and she loves everything about it.

For instance, she has started to recognize Christmas decorations everywhere we go. It's so funny, she'll see a wreath on a store door and announce "Mama, it's Christmastime at Baja Fresh!!"* "Mama, it's Christmastime at the grocery store!" "Mama, it's Christmastime at Walmart!"** We had the best time putting on the decorations. She exclaimed "It's Christmastime in our house!"

She loved putting ornaments on the tree and has been really good at not touching them and stopping Annie from touching them. She got to help Matt put the big bow at the top and was so excited! The best is that every morning since we put up the tree she has come down the stairs and said "the tree is still here!" I don't know if she thinks it is only going to be up for a day or what. But she seems genuinely surprised that it is still around each morning.

Now all we have to do is make our Christmas wreath to hang on the door and get out our Christmas dishes. Hopefully we'll get that done today. Here are some pictures of our tree.

Ellie's picture of the tree. (She has started to really like taking pictures with the camera. Some are pretty good, others not so much.)

*Can you tell it's one of my favorite places to eat? I mean, my three year old recognizes their logo anywhere.

**Again another logo she is very familiar with.
